
I just wanted to start a blog about what I experienced on what I consider the best piece of exercise equipment. The piece of equipment that I am talking about is the Ab Ball. What I consider the ab ball is one of those larger balls that you see at the gym. Other names for the Ab Ball are exercise ball, stability ball, physio ball or fitness ball. For years I walked by these balls at the gym never bothering to try it out. Actually, I rarely seen any one use it. After spending a few weeks on it I excited to tell you all the benefits of the Ab Ball.
First I want you to know that you can do much more than abs exercises on the Ab Ball. In fact you can pretty much exercise every major muscle group. But here is the interesting part. Doing this makes the exercise more functional and trains you for real world situations. This means that you are less likely to get hurt. You are also recruiting more muscle fibers doing exercise on the ball. These means you are expending more energy during the workout. The more energy you can expend the faster you will lose weight.
